{"id":6979,"date":"2025-07-11T17:06:13","date_gmt":"2025-07-11T17:06:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/baiwp.com\/weekly-recap-bitcoin-hits-ath-as-dozens-of-treasuries-bloom\/"},"modified":"2025-07-11T17:06:13","modified_gmt":"2025-07-11T17:06:13","slug":"weekly-recap-bitcoin-hits-ath-as-dozens-of-treasuries-bloom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/baiwp.com\/ja\/weekly-recap-bitcoin-hits-ath-as-dozens-of-treasuries-bloom\/","title":{"rendered":"Weekly Recap: Bitcoin Hits ATH as Dozens of Treasuries Bloom"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This week, bitcoin hit a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/07\/11\/over-1b-in-shorts-wiped-out-in-biggest-liquidation-since-january-as-btc-doge-xrp-zoom-5\">new all-time-high<\/a> (above $118K) on the back of strong <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/07\/11\/spot-bitcoin-etfs-see-usd1b-inflows-as-ibit-becomes-fastest-fund-to-hit-usd80b-in-assets\">ETF flows<\/a> and at least $280 million in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/07\/09\/bitcoin-treasury-firms-expand-war-chests-as-global-adoption-rises\">new bitcoin treasury investments<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Treasury projects are also cropping up for Ethereum and Solana. Notably, Joseph Lubin\u2019s SharpLink <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/07\/11\/ethereum-foundation-sells-10000-eth-to-sharplink-in-first-such-otc-deal\">ETH treasury bought 10,000 ETH<\/a> for that project, and Bitmine announced plans to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/07\/10\/bitmine-immersion-sheds-another-20-after-2b-atm-offering\">raise $2 billion<\/a> for more ETH buying. Off that strong signal, large-cap \u201calts\u201d like ETH and SOL saw near <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/07\/11\/whats-next-for-ether-solana-xrp-and-other-majors-as-bitcoin-clears-118k\">year-to-date highs<\/a>, carrying other <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/07\/10\/sui-rallies-nearly-10-in-bullish-breakout\">hot projects like SUI<\/a> higher as well.<\/p>\n<p>It was a week when the crypto markets seemed to be enjoying themselves as new legislation nears and investment flows from new institutional sources.<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. House said it would take up the Senate version of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/news-analysis\/2025\/07\/08\/u-s-house-ditching-its-stablecoin-bill-to-back-trump-s-choice-from-senate\">the GENIUS stablecoin bill<\/a>, making final passage easier. And industry leaders met on Capitol Hill to lobby for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/policy\/2025\/07\/09\/crypto-industry-pitches-market-structure-ideas-to-u-s-senators-in-hearing\">comprehensive \u201cMarket Structure\u201d bill<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It wasn\u2019t all plain sailing for innovators in the space. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/07\/09\/robinhood-says-openai-stock-tokens-backed-by-special-purpose-vehicle\">Robinhood faced skepticism<\/a> over its tokenized stock plans, and then the Florida AG launched a lawsuit claiming the fintech engaged in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/policy\/2025\/07\/11\/robinhood-probed-by-florida-ag-s-office-over-allegedly-deceptive-crypto-pricing-claims\">deceptive crypto pricing<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The Trump family\u2019s own crypto dealings continued to make news. Trump Media announced a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/policy\/2025\/07\/08\/trump-linked-truth-social-plans-crypto-etf-as-digital-asset-franchise-expands\">multi-asset ETF application<\/a>. And, Tron founder Justin Sun bought $100 million of $TRUMP and promised to help the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/07\/10\/justin-sun-wants-to-make-trump-a-global-crypto-brand-with-100m-buy\">memecoin go big in Asia and Africa.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Next week (dubbed &#8220;Crypto Week&#8221;) promises to be historic for crypto news. The House <a href=\"https:\/\/financialservices.house.gov\/news\/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=410793\">considers stablecoin and market structure legislation<\/a> and the Senate has a hearing planned on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/policy\/2025\/07\/09\/u-s-digital-assets-tax-policy-getting-hearing-during-crypto-week\">digital asset taxation<\/a>.\u00a0First a trickle, then a flood.
