A Michigan-based orthodontist, Amore Smiles, a dental supply chain, exclusively confirmed to Watcher Guru that the medical institution officially accepts SHIB as a payment method for customers. The company, which provides telemedicine solutions, also accepts other mainstream cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. Traditional payment methods such as cash and credit/debit cards are the main settlement methods.

SHIB Now Becomes an Option for Payment of Dental Supplies
Amore Smiles has a production division that produces braces, teeth whitening kits, custom mouth guards, and other dental medical supplies. The company is using blockchain technology to store important data on the network, which cannot be tampered with. The Michigan-based company is also applying for patents for its latest design of oral clear aligners and may become the first dental company to receive FDA patents and accept Shiba Inus.
The medical supply company mainly ships its products to the Netherlands, Dubai, and all over the heartland of the United States. The company allows customers to settle with cryptocurrencies including SHIB, Bitcoin, and Ethereum. The orthodontic company also exports its dental supplies to about 211 countries, thus maintaining a larger manufacturer-customer solution.

“Cryptocurrency can enhance access to healthcare and eliminate the logistical and financial challenges that prevent people from accessing healthcare.” reads the company’s note. The emergence of SHIB as a payment method shows that businesses are ready to embrace the boom in blockchain technology.
This is not the first time a medical company has announced that it accepts Shiba Inus as a payment method. In March 2022, Vita Plus, a private ambulance service in Turkey revealed that they accept SHIB as a payment method. A spokesperson for the company said that the ambulance service will be “suitable for international patient transfers.” He added, “This institution accepts payment using SHIB.”
